We stayed in a YURT while in West Virginia! It was kind of a scary experience because we got to the woods really late (of course) and it was already dark, and we had to do a bit of off roading to get to the yurt village, but we made it. We watched a movie and ate a take-out pizza. 🙂 The next morning we headed for Shenandoah National Park – beautiful scenery (so green!) and nice hikes. It started to rain just as we finished our last hike, so we ran to the car and headed to Richmond, Virginia. We had time for a tasting at a local brewery before our flight, and with that, our road trip was done – with five more states crossed off our list: DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and Maryland!
