Day 1: more photos of Basilica del Voto Nacional. Then we walked to La Ronda, a pretty street, where we had an amazing empanada de viento (fried bread and sugar) and canelazo, a hot drink made with aguardiente (sugar cane alcohol), sugar, agua de canela (water boiled with cinnamon), and naranjilla (“little orange”) juice.
